Rocksilla wasn't disgraced in any of her three runs last year and should find a race soon, though it will probably be a handicap. Dream Cast, who started odds-on on her final start at Chepstow in August, has similar credentials while Scala Romana is certain improve from her debut effort at Doncaster six days ago. CRAVE weakened inside the final furlong over a mile at Nottingham two weeks ago but showed good speed up to that point and the drop in distance seems certain to suit. She may well be good enough here granted normal progress.

Plenty of these can be regarded as course specialists but none arrive in better form than SEE THE STORM, who hasn't finished outside the first two in eight outings and carried over his good all-weather form on to Turf at Newmarket last week. Olney Lass may be the danger as she beat Zaheeb over course and distance last month before finishing a close-up fourth here subsequently. Shahrazad didn't beat much at Kempton and Charity Box may need another run but Relentless Harry should strip fitter for his reappearance at Doncaster and old Rough Rock rarely runs a bad race here.

Kickingthelilly is well treated on her Polytrack form but she's yet to be placed on Turf. Miss Dashwood is another to have shown her best form on an artificial surface and she finished ahead of subsequent Doncaster third Four Leaves in a Listed race at Kempton last month. Bassara hasn't raced since winning a Newmarket maiden last June but Tahlia Ree has been placed here and at Doncaster so far this year and Yojojo deserves a crack at a higher level after victories at Wolverhampton and Kempton. HURRICANE LADY has won three times over this trip and met trouble in-running on her return at Ascot. She makes more appeal than top weight Fulney and could be a bit of value in this.

Jonnie Skull is enjoying a new lease of life and chasing a third course win in just over a month in this. He only won by a short-head over 7f here last time, however, and has gone up the obligatory 6lb since though should again beat Hamble. Brown Pete earns full marks for consistency but he's starting to look like a gelding without a trip having been tried over distance ranging from a mile to 1m4f in his last four runs. Gift Of Silence is up a pound for finishing second here last time which means, including Philip Prince's claim, she is giving 8lb to HAIL PROMENADER. Anthony Carson's charge won off a 5lb higher mark over course and distance last July and may have seem too much daylight when favourite at Nottingham last time.

Salutation looks a typically tough Mark Johnston handicapper while Eshtiaal appreciated the step up to this trip when scoring at Goodwood but MASQUERADING could be one to follow now going handicapping as he appeared to have plenty in the locker when scoring at Kempton. There is no reason why he can't translate that form to Turf. Could Be went close at Bath and makes more appeal than Bin Singspiel of the others with Debdebdeb racing from a pound out of the handicap.

Star Alliance wasn't beaten far when reappearing following a lengthy absence at Wolverhampton and is one for the short-list here along with Musselburgh winner Kingarrick. In-form CORN MAIDEN had Wasabi back in third when winning over a shorter trip here last month. The latter is 5lb better off but Mark Rimmer's filly can confirm the form and may be the one to beat again in a race that lacks any real strength-in-depth. Gucci D'oro started favourite on his return at Kempton so is presumably thought capable of better but he remains a maiden.

Cincinnati Kit has been rested since completing a double at Wolverhampton and it remains to be seen if he'll reproduce that form back on Turf. Slatey Hen keeps finding one too good on the Polytrack and has never sparkled on this surface but Speedyfix is a course and distance winner arriving in good form and he looks the pick of Christine Dunnett's three runners with Daniel Muscutt taking off 7lb. IMAGINARY DIVA enjoys a big turnaround in the weights than when behind the latter at Lingfield in March, however, and has been a regular winner off this sort of mark in the past - she gets the speculative vote today.
