One of the highlights of the British sporting calendar, Cheltenham Festival is the pinnacle of the Jumps season, taking place in March each year. The Festival takes places from Tuesday to Friday, with a seven-race card each day including plenty of Grade 1 contests.
With a Championship race being contested every day, Day One of the Festival features the Champion Hurdle, the final leg of the Triple Crown of Hurdling and Road to Cheltenham.
On Day Two, the Queen Mother Champion Chase is the showpiece event, widely regarded as the top race for chasers over two miles.
Day Three’s headline act is the Stayers’ Hurdle. Run over three miles, the Stayer’s is the most highly regarded long-distance hurdle renewal in the entire National Hunt season.
The final day of Cheltenham Festival features the most prestigious race of the National Hunt season, the Cheltenham Gold Cup. With 22 fences to navigate, horses have gone on to acquire legendary status with a win in the Gold Cup including Arkle, Kauto Star, Best Mate and Denman.
Ahead of every race at Cheltenham Festival, we’ll provide odds and a wide range of Ante-Post markets which will be regularly updated throughout the season.
The most famous steeplechase in the world, the Grand National is the biggest betting race of the year, with many who aren’t regular Horse Racing bettors making their pick on the action.
Each year, the race held at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool is shown in over 140 countries, with an estimated audience of anywhere between 500 and 600 million viewers.
The race never fails to disappoint, with 40 entrants running the mega distance of 4m2½f tackling fences that are often much larger than those found on the most challenging National Hunt courses.
It’s not just the fences that have earned the equivalent of celebrity status, as the course boasts some world-renowned corners too, namely The Chair and Becher’s Brook.
When it comes to the Grand National, however you make your pick at Aintree, whether you’re making an informed choice after months of research, or whether you’re just backing the colour of the silks, we’ll have a wide range of markets available at Ladbrokes.
Do we cover international racing too?
Although we provide an extensive range of markets on UK & Irish racing, our Sportsbook markets don’t stop there, as we’ve got a huge level of coverage on racing from all over the globe.
Whether you’re looking for early morning action from Australia, or late-night cards from the United States, we’ve got it all, and plenty more in between from France, UAE, Japan, Hong Kong, India and much more.
