Tall order for baby Crouch

Following the rumours that Peter Crouch and Abbey Clancy are expecting a baby boy, Ladbrokes is offering odds of 10/1 that the child will grow to be taller than his dad by the age of 18, and 50/1 that he will play football for England.

If that career doesn’t kick off, the bookie is offering 15/1 that he follows his mum’s footsteps by becoming a model.

Crouch is 20/1 to name the child after his Spurs manager Harry Redknapp, and 15/1 to name him Peter Junior.

David Williams of Ladbrokes said, “Crouchy’s a beanpole, and Abbey’s no midget herself, so just imagine how tall their son could be!”
