Home wins look certain for both Barcelona and Real Madrid

| 03.10.2010

Barcelona and Real Madrid will both be eager to secure home victories in order to maintain the pressure on Valencia at the head of the La Liga table.

Pep Guardiola’s team have won 12 of their last 13 matches at the Nou Camp and he will be confident that a success will be witnessed against Real Mallorca.

Barcelona are 1/6 to beat Mallorca, who are a team they have beaten at home in six of the last seven meetings.

Meanwhile, Mallorca have lost their last three games on the road without scoring a goal.

They are 14/1 to beat Barcelona and snuff out the threat of an attacking line-up which boasts Lionel Messi, who has recovered from injury to take part.

Real Madrid host Deportivo knowing that they have won the last three meetings between the two teams.

Madrid have also won the last five clashes between the pair at the Bernabeu and they are 1/6 to beat Deportivo.

Goals could prove difficult for Deportivo based on the fact that they have failed to find the target in five of their last six games and Madrid have only conceded two in their five La Liga outings, which includes two clean sheets at home.

Deportivo are 14/1 to beat Real Madrid and end a run of 15 away games without a victory.

Cristiano Ronaldo will be among the more likely candidates to open the scoring and can be backed at 5/2 to score first against Mallorca.

Barcelona are 4/7 to win La Liga this season, with Real Madrid 11/8. See the full La Liga winners betting odds market.
