Crawley are 15/8 to spring a surprise and progress past Swindon

With at least one non-league team liable to make a big name for themselves in the FA Cup, Crawley have nothing to be fearful of when hosting Swindon and at 15/8 could be a decent price to defeat their League One opponents.

Despite reaching the play-offs in League One last season, Swindon have struggled to replicate the same form during the present campaign, currently sitting just one place outside of the relegation places after 18 games.

Furthermore, they have won just one of their nine away games, conceding over two goals in each of these fixtures on average.

Meanwhile, Crawley are flying high in the Conference, winning six of their nine home games and scoring 20 goals in the process.

They have also managed 17 goals in their last four games and should have no trouble maintaining their attacking attitude in front of their own fans.

Therefore, a 2-1 Crawley win could represent good value at 10/1, while a 2-0 success can be backed at 11/1.

Even though they are two rungs higher up the football ladder, Swindon are 11/8 to beat Crawley.

The other Friday FA Cup game pits Port Vale at home to Accrington Stanley in an all League Two clash and the 4/6 available on the home side should be taken.

Port Vale currently set the standard in League Two and have already beaten Accrington at Vale Park this season in a league encounter in September.

Accrington are still awaiting their first away victory of the campaign, but are tough to beat as they have drawn seven of their ten fixtures on the road.

Therefore, Port Vale are unlikely to run riot and a decent bet could be on the hosts triumphing 1-0, which is priced at 6/1.

A £10 bet on a double of Crawley and Port Vale both winning at home would pay out £47.90. New Ladbrokes customers can sign up here for a free £10 bet.
