Bet on the FA Cup – Swindon will ease past Crawley
Swindon boss Danny Wilson has admitted he expects his side to easily cope with the threat of Crawley in tonight’s FA Cup replay – if they remain focused.
The Robins produced an excellent performance at the weekend to see off Sheffield Wednesday 2-1 and climb to 14th in League One. Meanwhile, conference side Crawley – who lie second in the top tier of non-league football – had their game against Wrexham called off.
After drawing their first game 1-1 and with a few extra days to prepare, Crawley could be in line for an upset at 7/2. However, Swindon should win – something Wilson knows all too well.
He said: “We’ve got to treat them with as much respect as we did with Sheffield Wednesday and if we do that we should come out on top.
“We know that Crawley are two leagues below us and have spent a lot of money, but I expect us to beat them.”
With Swindon losing just two of their last nine home games in 90 minutes, backing the League One side to triumph at a rather generous 8/11 could be well worth putting some money on.
Leyton Orient v Droylsden
Despite being just two points off the League One drop zone, Leyton Orient have now lost only one of their last ten games in all competitions and should extend that run against Droylsden.
The Conference South side haven’t played in two weeks due to postponements and comprehensively lost their last two away games against the less than illustrious Stalybridge Celtic and Guiseley. Back Leyton Orient to win at 4/11.
