Garrido to continue winning at home as Villarreal manager

| 05.12.2010

Juan Carlos Garrido has a fantastic home record in charge of Villarreal and this is likely to continue as they prepare to host Sevilla.

With Barcelona and Real Madrid almost certain to occupy the top two positions in the La Liga table at the end of the season, Villarreal and Sevilla will be among the favourites to finish third in the standings.

Villarreal currently lie in third and they are 4/5 to take another three points towards finishing in this position by beating Sevilla.

Garrido has won 12 of his 14 home games as boss of the Yellow Submarines, with his only defeat coming against Barcelona.

Scoring could prove the biggest difficulty for Sevilla as they have failed to find the target in three of their last four away games.

Meanwhile, Villarreal have only conceded twice in their six league games at El Madrigal this season.

Sevilla are 10/3 to beat Villarreal and move to within four points of their opposition in the La Liga standings.

The other televised Sunday La Liga games sees Athletic Bilbao looking to continue their record of scoring in each of their last ten visits to Real Sociedad.

Bilbao are also the only team to have found the target in all of their La Liga games this season and they are 15/8 to do this and beat Sociedad in the football betting odds.

However, there is every chance that Sociedad will also find the target and potentially improve a run that has seen them win just one of their last nine showdowns with Bilbao.

The visitors have conceded at least four goals in their last three away games and Sociedad are 13/10 to take the spoils.

Therefore, another good betting opportunity could be the 21/10 on offer that the game features more than 3.5 goals.

A £10 bet on Sociedad beating Bilbao 4-2 could return £660. New Ladbrokes customers can sign up here for a free £10 bet.
