Venky’s Kean for Steve?

| 16.12.2010

Steve Kean is the 2/1 favourite with Ladbrokes to take over at Blackburn, with the sustained gamble on Martin Jol seemingly going awry as he currently trades at 6/1.

Fan-favourite Shearer is an 8/1 chance and a host of English managers populate the top of the market in response to owners Venky’s demands for an Englishman to replace big Sam

Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “The money last week suggested Jol was moving in. Since the owners have indicated their preferences we have seen support for the usual English candidates who pop up every time a manager is sacked.”
