Chesterfield have chance to extend gap at the top of League Two

But with Port Vale away at Burnley in the FA Cup – they are 6/1 to win – and Rotherham not in action, Chesterfield can extend their lead to five points with a win away at Southend United.
Southend have struggled to come to terms with life in League Two after being relegated from League One, and the Shrimpers shouldn’t prove too much of a problem for Chesterfield, who are 6/4 to beat Southend.
The reverse fixture in October ended 2-1 to Chesterfield and a repeat of that scoreline is priced at 8/1.
However, Chesterfield have found goals on the road hard to come by while Southend’s home defence has been solid, which suggests this game could be separated by the odd goal.

Shrewsbury Town vs Morecambe
Recent results for Shrewsbury have been poor, taking just seven points from their last possible 21 and they have slipped eight points behind Chesterfield.

But despite their poor form, Shrewsbury, who are 8/11 to win, should be able to take something from this game although it may only be a point – the draw is 11/4.
Accrington Stanley vs Bury
Like Shrewsbury, Bury have also fallen off the pace in League Two in recent weeks and are 6/4 to beat Accrington and remain in contention for automatic promotion.
There have been 16 goals in the last four encounters between these two and a 2-2 draw looks the pick of the betting markets and is 14/1 to happen.
