Milan good bet to beat Udinese and maintain Serie A lead

AC Milan have opened up a five-point lead at the head of Serie A and they are big favourites in the football betting at 4/9 to at least maintain this advantage by beating Udinese.

Udinese have lost their last four away games, while Milan continue to go from strength to strength with 11 victories from their last 14 league fixtures.

However, their two defeats in this period have both come at the San Siro against Juventus and Roma and it is 13/2 that Udinese also leave three points better off.

A much tougher game to predict is that between Napoli and Juventus, with Napoli strong in terms of winning at home, while Juventus do not concede many on their travels.

Serie A betting odds have Napoli priced at 6/5 to make it five home victories on the bounce, although Juventus have let in just five times in their nine away games.

Juventus are 23/10 to return to winning ways after their surprise home defeat against Parma.

The game is likely to be tight and could be settled by the odd goal, which makes 12/5 decent betting odds that under 1.5 goals are scored.

Another hard encounter to call is that at Sampdoria, with Roma the next visitors to Marassi.

Sampdoria have lost just one of their last 36 home games, while they have kept clean sheets in seven of the last ten of these.

This could make them overpriced at 21/10 to beat Roma, but they have not taken three points from a home game with Roma since 2005.

Claudio Ranieri’s team are also in good form with three straight victories and just one defeat in 12 league games to climb the Serie A table.

Roma are 7/5 to beat Sampdoria, but perhaps the best bet is the draw at 21/10.

A £10 bet on Milan beating Udinese 3-0 could see a return of £80. New Ladbrokes customers can sign up here for a free £10 bet.
