Sampdoria v Juventus – The Old Lady face a tough task

| 23.01.2011

After a pretty poor start to the Serie A season, Juventus’ young side have become an extremely solid unit.

The Old Lady went on a 13 game unbeaten run that stretched from September to December, before suffering consecutive league defeats to Parma and Napoli.

They stopped it becoming a hat-trick of losses with a win against Bari last week and are 7/4 in the Serie A betting to win this clash.

However, beating Sampdoria will not be an easy task. Sampdoria have lost just one of their last 37 games on home soil and should have enough to hold Juve.

Back the game to finish in a draw at a very tempting 2/1.

AC Milan v Cesena

The next Serie A game of the day sees league leaders AC Milan take on Cesena.

Cesena have had a pretty miserable season so far and are only out of the relegation zone on goal difference. They have won just one of their last nine on the road and that shouldn’t change at the San Siro.

Milan’s last home game ended in a 4-4 draw against Udinese but there won’t be any fireworks this time around.

Backing a straightforward 2-0 win for Milan at 5/1 looks very tempting – especially if you take advantage of a free bet worth £25 with Ladbrokes.

A £25 stake on Sampdoria and Juventus to draw 1-1 pay out £150. New customers can sign up here for a free £25 bet.
