European preview – Tuesday 15th Februrary

Published:

Tottenham Hotspur are 4/1 to beat AC Milan on Tuesday night with Ladbrokes.

It’s 8/11 AC Milan register a win in the first leg of the tie, with the draw priced at 5/2.

AC are favoured at the prices for qualification (8/11) although it’s tight with Spurs currently evens to progress.

Ibrahimovic is the 4/1 favourite to score first with Rafael Van der vaart the shortest priced away player at 7/1.

Manchester City are expected to brush aside their Greek opponents Aris over two legs as they are 1/10 to qualify, and 8/13 to win the first leg away from home.

Carlos Tevez is the 3/1 market leader for the first goal with Nery Castillo the home side’s best chance of scoring first at 8/1.

It’s 9/2 Aris make use of home advantage to win the first left with the draw an 11/4 chance.

Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “Both ties feature fancied odds-on favourites and many punters are looking to get their European week off to a flier as the AC/City double has been well backed. Of the two English sides in action on Tuesday City are by far the more likely side to progress at the prices but we can’t rule out Tottenham over two legs either.”
