Gillingham vs Rotherham – Bet on the in-form Gills at a great price

Published:

It’s a huge week in League Two for the teams chasing automatic promotion and after a poor start to the league, a win for Gillingham at home to Rotherham United would see them become serious contenders for automatic promotion.

At 5/4 to beat Rotherham, Gillingham offer all the value considering just once in 14 occasions has the away side won in clashes between the two, and the Gills last home defeat to the Millers came way back in 1988.

Rotherham are currently clinging on to third spot in League Two and have failed to score in their last three away games, losing them all.

Ronnie Moore’s side are 21/10 to win but offer very little value considering their recent form and the fact Gillingham have lost just twice in their last 13 games.

Bury vs Stevenage

With Rotherham likely to lose in Kent, this is a huge game for Alan Knill’s Bury side who are just four points behind Rotherham.

The Shakers are unbeaten in four and are 11/10 to beat a Stevenage side who have lost their last three away league ties by a 1-0 scoreline – Bury are 7/1 to win 1-0.

It will be the first time the two sides have ever met before but Bury, with a little help from Ryan Lowe (4/1 to score first), can subject Stevenage to their fourth consecutive 1-0 away league defeat.

Hereford vs Macclesfield Town

Rule out both sides sharing the spoils in this relegation clash as the seven-game history involving the two clubs has never produced a draw.

Macclesfield have won on two of their three visits to Edgar Street and are a big price at 12/5 to win on Tuesday.

But Hereford, who saw their four-game winning streak ended by Lincoln last Saturday have shown enough to suggest that their capable of edging this one – they are 11/10 to win and 6/1 to win 1-0.

A £25 treble on Gillingham, Bury and Hereford winning would return £248. New customers can sign up here for a free bet worth £25.
