England favourites to blow away the West Indies

| 14.03.2011

England are 8/13 with Ladbrokes to beat the West Indies on Thursday and qualify for the quarter finals of the World Cup. The Windies are 5/4 to win and qualify, while Bangladesh are 3/1 to make it through.

Australia are 1/66 to beat Canada tomorrow, with the Canadians 16/1 to spring what would be one of the biggest upsets in the history of the sport.

Sachin Tendulkar and AB De Villiers are both 11/4 to be top tournament runscorer, with Virender Sehwag 3/1. Shahid Afridi is 5/4 to be the leading wicket taker, with Zaheer Khan available at 4/1.

Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “England are narrow favourites to win, but our punters have been hesitant to back them as there’s just no telling which England side will turn up.”
