Fulham vs Blackburn – Hughes unbeaten against former sides
They may be level on points in the Barclays Premier League, but the betting suggests that there is only one outcome when Fulham and Blackburn Rovers meet on Saturday.
A loss for either side would leave them lingering dangerously close to the relegation zone but the relegation odds provide a strong insight into the form of the two clubs with Fulham 12/1 to be relegated and Blackburn 5/1 to be relegated.
Match Odds
Despite being level on points Fulham are as short as 8/11 to beat Blackburn at home after winning four and drawing one of their last five league games.
Blackburn are on a run of five straight away defeats and are 4/1 to beat Fulham, but Fulham have won just two of their last ten meetings with Blackburn and the draw may offer the better value at 5/2.
Fulham have drawn 50 per cent of their Premier League games this season and four of the last ten between the two have ended in draws.
Total Goals
A repeat of the 1-1 draw at Ewood Park earlier in the season is the favoured result at 11/2 and considering Fulham have kept just one clean sheet in 14 league matches with Blackburn suggesting they have to score twice.
But in Clint Dempsey, Fulham have a forward who has scored four goals in his last four appearances against Blackburn and the striker is 9/2 to get the first goal.
Blackburn’s Chris Samba enjoys facing Fulham and has consecutive goals against the Cottagers in their last two games, and at 7/1 he is a big price to score at any time.
Fulham may be in great league form but 8/11 seems too short for the home side and backing either side to come from behind and draw at 15/2 would provide a health return.
