India shorten to 6/4 favourites to win Cricket World Cup

INDIA HAVE been cut to 6/4 for the Cricket World Cup by Ladbrokes.

With the tournament now at the semi-final stage only Pakistan stand in their way of a berth in the final and it’s 4/7 that they win that match (Pakistan 11/8).

Surprise package New Zealand are 6/1 outsiders to win the tournament, with the odds suggesting they face a tough task getting past Sri Lanka in the other semi final (Sri Lanka 4/9 – New Zealand 7/4).

India have been by far the best supported side throughout the tournament and Ladbrokes currently stand to lose £500,000 should they prevail.

Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “Despite seeing money for the Sri Lankans we’re happy that England are finally coming home. India would be a woeful result for us in the outright market so we just live in hope that someone can see them off.”
