Irish Six Nations victory leaves bookies celebrating

Published:

IRELAND HAVE saved Ladbrokes from a monster payout following their win over England in the Six Nations.

England were backed off the boards all week to win the match with the firm also holding a serious liability on the Grand Slam after a string of impressive wins early in the tournament.

England are still the shortest priced northern hemisphere team for the Rugby World Cup at 8/1 with Ireland 40/1 chances.

Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “After their impressive week at Cheltenham, Irish eyes continue to smile and we couldn’t be happier to celebrate with them this time.”
