MK Dons vs Peterborough – Posh to edge clash of form teams

| 21.03.2011

The result of the clash between MK Dons and Peterborough could have a major bearing on who which teams are promoted from League One this season and the game is likely to be decided by which striker continues their hot scoring streak in front of goal.

Match Odds

Both clubs have come into form at just the right time of the season, with MK Dons enjoying a four-game winning sequence, while Peterborough have triumphed in all of their last five fixtures.

The pair are currently the two form teams in the division and MK Dons are 6/4 in the League One betting to land the spoils and consolidate their spot in the play-off places.

A victory for Peterborough would enable them to climb above Huddersfield into the automatic promotion places for the first time since October.

Peterborough’s betting odds are 7/4 to beat MK Dons and they are unbeaten in the last four games against the opposition, which includes their 2-1 success at London Road earlier in the season.

The draw that would extend the recent good form of both clubs is priced at 23/10.

To Score At Any Time

Craig Mackail-Smith scored one of the goals in Peterborough’s victory over MK Dons in September and remains in great form at present.

Five goals in as many games as taken him to the top of the League One scoring charts and it is 5/4 that he strikes at any time in the 90 minutes at MK Dons.

However, the Dons have a striker in even better form as Sam Baldock has scored five goals in three games, including a hat-trick in the away win over Colchester in their latest outing.

Baldock is 6/4 to score against Peterborough and 5/1 to break the deadlock.

A £20 stake on Peterborough beating MK Dons 3-2 would return £500. New customers can sign up here to take advantage of free bets totalling up to £60.
