Blue now shortest ever odds for UK entry

Published:

Confidence in Blue is at an all time high according to bookies Ladbrokes.

Blue currently have the shortest odds (7/1) that any UK entrant has ever had and with memories of Scooch (20/1), Andy Abraham (80/1) and last year’s 100/1 flop Josh Dubovie fresh in their minds they could be forgiven for giving our entry a wide berth but a consistent flow of money for the boys has the bookies running scared leading up to the final.

Only red-hot favourites France (6/4) currently appear to stand in the way of Blue and as rehearsal reports emerge confirming the boys are hitting all the right notes the bookies are expecting to slash the odds repeatedly this week.

Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “Following last year’s dismal effort we’d understand if punters had turned their back on the UK for good. That’s not the case this year and the message is clear – if you want to back Blue get on now before the odds collapse.”
