For Huhne the bell tolls
Published:Chris Huhne is once again odds-on with Ladbrokes to be the first Cabinet minister to leave the government following more revelations in the weekend press about his private life.
The Lib Dem MP has failed to shake off allegations about a driving offence and the bookies have shortened him to 10/11 (from evens) to leave the coalition front bench.
Andrew Lansley is 6/1 to be the first minister to go with Ken Clarke back out to 7/1 and Vince Cable at 8/1.
David Williams of Ladbrokes said: “Huhne’s opponents are circling again and they can smell blood. The penalty points scandal doesn’t look like going away any time soon.”
