Sanchez winging it to City – Modric to stay put

ALEXIS SANCHEZ is 6/4 with Ladbrokes to be a Manchester City player at the end of the summer transfer window.

It’s 11/4 he joins Barcelona with 3/1 the price he remains at Udinese.

Modric is odds-on (1/2) to stay at Tottenham with Manchester United the most likely team at 4/1 to sign him should he leave. It’s 9/2 he goes to London rivals Chelsea. Barcelona are the shortest priced foreign club at 12/1.

Michael Essien looks far likelier to remain at Chelsea (1/5) than Didier Drogba this summer, with the Ivory Coast striker earning a 5/6 quote to leave.

Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “Sanchez has his pick of Europe’s big clubs and the odds suggest he’s bound for the blue half of Manchester. We think Modric has a far better chance of staying at his current club.

“Of the two big Chelsea rumours it’s Drogba who’s causing the head scratching as Essien looks set to stay.”
