FTSE in freefall? 4/9 it dips below 4000 this year
Published:The FTSE 100 looks set to plummet this year according to Ladbrokes.
The bookies make the index just 4/9 to fall below 4000 this year, and those who think it may get worse can take 4/1 it slips below 3000 in the same period.
Punters can also speculate on it’s finishing position at year end and the even money favourite is 4500 or lower. It’s 5/2 it sits between 4500 and 6000 and 6/4 it rallys tabove 6000.
Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “It’s looking bleak for the FTSE. The odds say it’ll get worse before it gets better.”
