Get the Becks on ice! Goldenballs already Dancing on Ice favourite
Published:DAVID BECKHAM is already the favourite for the 2012 edition of Dancing on Ice, according to Ladbrokes.
The bookies have responded to claims the he will enter the competition by making him their 2/1 favourite to win the show – the shortest price a skater has ever been at this stage.
Teen-idol Justin Bieber has also stated his desire to skate if Beckham participates and it’s 10/1 the pair are seen together on the ice in the next series.
Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “Beckham’s athletic ability coupled with his colossal fan base means we have to respect him. He’s already the hot favourite before he’s even put his skates on.”
He added: “Beckham’s popularity with punters knows no limits. He’d be the favourite for an egg and spoon race.”
