Strictly Come Dancing: favourite Harry Judd is feeling the pressure

Published:

Stirctly Come Dancing joint favourite Harry Judd has admitted that, behind his calm exterior, he’s a bag of nerves.

Alesha Dixon may have said Harry was “too cool for school” as she gave him a ‘ten’ for his Psycho Killer tango last Saturday but, according to the McFly drummer, he is anything but.

Speaking to This Morning, he said: “Then you’ve got to do your bit to camera and then you go downstairs, the VT’s playing and then it starts. The music and it goes ‘Dancing the waltz…’ Your heart is just thumping and it’s terrifying.

“I had one week where I literally nearly just stopped and broke down but something just clicked inside me. You’ve got to get on with it.”

Harry remains joint favourite with Jason Donovan at 2/1 to triumph and he’s out at a massive 100/1 to be eliminated this Sunday – despite his admission.

Meanwhile, Holly Valance has hit out at rumours circulating that her and Artem Chigvintsev are more than just dance partners.

Speaking to OK! magazine, she said: “That’s a bit clichéd isn’t it? These stories are so dull.”

Holly is fourth favourite at 7/1 to win the series and out at 50/1 to be the next celebrity eliminated.

While the likes of Harry and Holly are racking up the column inches, third favourite, Chelsee Healey, has been keeping a low profile following her wardrobe malfunction last weekend.

The Waterloo Road star has come across incredibly well so far and scored the highest marks of all the celebrities in week four with her excellent quickstep.

She may not be the biggest name in the competition, but the Eccles girl is extremely likable and may be worth considering at 6/1 to go on and win the series.
