Williams to wave goodbye to Wales with win in World Cup rematch

| 02.12.2011

SHANE WILLIAMS is 66/1 to score a hat-trick against Australia, according to Ladbrokes.

In the rematch of the Rugby World Cup third-place play-off, Australia (4/7) are the odds-on favourites to win but Wales will fancy their chances at 6/4 and the bookies predict a tight match giving the home side a four-point start on the handicap.

Williams can also be backed at 10/1 to cross the whitewash first and it’s 25/1 he scores the last try of the match.

Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “Wales will be desperate to give Williams a proper send off in what looks to be a tight game. We’re sure to see money for him to get on the scoresheet.”
