Banjo to body pop the Olympic ceremony into life

ASHLEY BANJO is odds-on to choreograph the opening ceremony of the London 2012 Olympics, according to Ladbrokes.

The Diversity star leads the betting at 1/2 as Danny Boyle starts to orchestrate his plans for the show-stopping opening ceremony. Bets are being taken on which dance moves will feature and it’s just even money that the head spin is used and 6/1 Michael Jackson’s famous moonwalk makes an appearance.

New Dancing On Ice judge Louie Spence is the second favourite for the job at 4/1, followed closely by former X Factor choreographer Brian Freedman (6/1).

Jolly Mayor of London Boris Johnson is also chalked up by the bookies at 250/1 to perform the worm at some point during the ceremony.

Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “Banjo’s got it in the bag as far as we’re concerned. Punters tuning in all over the globe would love to see Boris do the worm.”
