FA Cup: Dagenham & Redbridge massive value at Millwall

| 17.01.2012

Dagenham & Redbridge make the short trip to Millwall for their FA Cup replay, but the League Two strugglers should hold no fears at the home of their London rivals.

The sides played out a 0-0 draw in the initial encounter, but the Daggers must take heart from gaining that result against a Lions outfit that was as close to full strength as possible.

With two sendings off in their 6-0 defeat at The Den on Saturday, 4/9 Millwall won’t be able to name as strong a team this time round.

Darius Henderson should return from injury however, but that may not deter punters from backing another draw at 10/3, or the away side at a monster 6/1, with the reward for progression being a home tie against Championship leaders Southampton.

Elsewhere, Brighton must travel to The Racecourse Ground to meet Conference table-toppers Wrexham after a 1-1 draw at the Amex Arena.

The Welsh side performed admirably to come from behind away from home, and many will take advantage of the 19/10 odds on a home win here.

It’s 9/4 that the sides play out another stalemate in 90 minutes, while Gus Poyet’s men, showing flickers of their splendid early season form again, are 7/5 to clinch a home tie with Newcastle in the fourth round.

The travellers would have to do so with limited striking options, as Craig Mackail-Smith and Will Hoskins are both doubtful.

Meanwhile, Macclesfield travel to the Reebok Stadium, counting themselves unlucky to only emanate from the initial fixture with a 2-2 draw.

Under-fire Bolton boss Owen Coyle will take no chances here, and his side should progress with ease at odds of 2/7.

4/1 is the price attributed to the sides cancelling each other out again, while it is 10/1 that Macclesfield go one better than they did at Moss Rose, and earn a money-spinning fourth round tie at home to Swansea.
