Man Utd can dominate Arsenal in either half at The Emirates

Manchester United travel to The Emirates on Sunday brimming with confidence at a ground they have won at on two of their past three visits.

United will also fancy their chances after recording an infamous 8-2 victory in the reverse fixture at Old Trafford earlier this season.

The Red Devils are 6/4 to conquer their London rivals outright, and with the home side potentially missing the inspirational Thierry Henry, punters are likely to lap that price up.

A gulf in class was painfully evident when the sides met in August, meaning that extreme caution should be taken when looking at the home side’s 7/4 price in the Premier League odds.

Indeed, the most attractive prices on the game look to be found when betting on half markets in the favour of the away side.

Sir Alex Ferguson’s men, who have won five of the past six meetings between the teams in all competitions, have led in seven of their ten away games at the break so far this term, and have failed to drop a point from a position where they have been drawing or leading.

Fergie’s charges are big at 5/2 to just score in either half, but even better value at 7/2 to be leading at half-time and full-time.

Even bigger is the 6/1 for the Old Trafford outfit to win both halves, looking particularly appealing when you consider they have lost just one away game this term.

Wayne Rooney has loved playing against Arsenal in recent times, notching six strikes in his past seven games against them, and the controversial England striker can continue his run by scoring first at 5/1 here.

Seven of his 13 Premier League strikes to date have come in the first half of games, and so it would seem that the mercurial forward looks good to notch in either half, further enhancing the idea that Manchester United to win both halves looks a great bet.
