Return of the King unlikely as Cantona big odds for presidency

Following his announcement of intention to run, the bookies have chalked him up as a rank outsider as Francois Hollande (4/6 favourite) and Nicolas Sarkozy (6/4) duel it out at the top of the market.
Francis Bayrou is the market mover on the back of strong polling and currently trades at 12/1 from 16/1.
Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “Surely not even Cantona’s biggest fans can make a case for him winning this. Bayrou is the man for money this week but it still appears to be a coin toss between Hollande and Sarkozy.”
