La Liga accumulator: Get behind travelling Sevilla then look to home
Published:Although Sevilla’s recent La Liga form hasn’t been sparkling, their last domestic success came away from home, and they can claim another success at Racing Santander on Wednesday, to kick off our 10/1 accumulator.
Santander are struggling to ease their relegation fears, and remain in the bottom three with eleven games remaining, whilst Sevilla are desperate to re-ignite their bid for Europa League qualification by sealing up their patchy form.
Their last victory came away to third-placed Valencia, and they should be able to overcome a Santander side devoid of confidence after losing their last three games at 11/8 tonight.
Malaga are our next pick, as the moneybags club aim to take a step towards ensuring Champions League qualification by disposing of Rayo Vallecano at 6/10.
They will be buoyed by becoming only the second team to emerge from Santiago Bernabeu having avoided defeat, and can build on their 1-1 draw at Real Madrid by achieving a home success over a Vallecano side struggling for consistency.
Meanwhile, Valencia can further cement their Champions League credentials when they welcome La Liga’s basement club Real Zaragoza to the Mestalla, priced at 3/10 to win.
Valencia have won more than half of their home games this season, and with Zaragoza achieving just one victory on the road, and suffering ten defeats on their travels, it is hard to argue against anything other than a home triumph here.
We then look to Sporting Gijon to round off the accumulator, and having avoided defeat in their past four home matches, in a run that has included wins over Malaga and Sevilla, they can prosper against Mallorca at 5/4.
Mallorca have won only twice on the road this season, and a run of four away matches without a win looks set to be extended here for the travelling side.
