Llorente could capitalise on Man United’s European home woes

Athletic Bilbao will fancy their chances of getting on the scoresheet at Old Trafford on Thursday night, and their main threat Fernando Llorente looks big at 8/1 to get the opener in the match.

The physical Spanish international has racked up thirteen goals in just nineteen starting La Liga appearances so far this season, and should he add to his two Europa League strikes here, he would claim refunds for Ladbrokes customers placing losing first scorer bets.

Manchester United have uncharacteristically conceded seven goals in just four European outings at home this year, and with just one clean sheet in this time, Bilbao must be fancied to score.

That said, Sir Alex Ferguson named a strong lineup in either leg against Ajax, and his side will possess plenty of attacking threat too.

Wayne Rooney can be backed at 4/1 to score first, whilst Ashley Young, with three goals in his past four games, is 9/1 to break the deadlock.

Losing first scorer punters will have their stake refunded if Llorente scores at any time in the game.
