Celtic cut to 1/33 for SPL 2012/13 in what looks one-horse race

CELTIC ARE now 1/33 to win next season’s SPL, according to Ladbrokes.

Following the vote which has refused Rangers entry into the forthcoming SPL, Celtic’s odds of winning the title have been cut further to 1/33, firmly making it a one-horse race in Scotland’s top flight.

Attention now turns to the more interesting battle of which team will finish in second place, and the firm cannot split Hearts, Motherwell or Dundee United who are all chalked up at 25/1 for the runners-up spot.

Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “It’s a shame for Rangers’ fans but their time is up and we’ve been forced to slash Celtic’s odds even further. The title race is over before it’s even begun, so next season it will all be about the race for second.”
