China fancied to take home most Olympic gold medals
Published:CHINA ARE the new favourites to win the most golds at London 2012, according to Ladbrokes.
The Chinese got off to a flyer during the opening weekend which consequently left them to displace the Americans as the odds-on 4/7 favourites to top the medal charts this summer.
USA have now drifted out to odds-against at 5/4, however it’s still a healthy lead over third placed Russia at 50/1 and Team GB at 66/1.
Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “There’s no stopping China now. Unfortunately Team GB are one of the outsiders but let’s hope they can defy the odds.”
