England to washout Australia in cricket before the rain does
Published:ENGLAND ARE odds-on to wrap up the series whitewash against Australia, according to Ladbrokes.
With the series already in the bag the home side are now odds-on at 4/5 to clinch it 4-0, but Australia are given an even-money chance of saving themselves from embarrassment to finish the series at 3-1.
The firm pledge to be top price on England’s runscorers and it’s Ian Bell and Alastair Cook who are the joint 7/2 favourites to notch up the most runs on Tuesday at Old Trafford. And Steven Finn (3/1) is fancied to continue his hot streak as England’s top wicket-taker.
