Real Madrid and Barcelona to enjoy home comforts

As La Liga gets set for another pulsating season champions Real Madrid are huge 2/7 favourites to beat visiting Valencia with Real Sociedad 9/2 to earn a draw against Barcelona at the Camp Nou

Self-styled ‘special one’ Jose Mourinho sees his Real Madrid side take on Valencia at the Bernabeu and it’s difficult to see anything other than a routine win for the Portuguese maestro.

Madrid only dropped seven points at home all season on their way to the Primera League title last term but one of those games was in fact a 0-0 draw with Valencia.

No doubt the visitors will be looking to replicate a performance in which they frustrated the champions and if you wish to back the same result here you will be delighted with the generous 20/1 returns.

Valencia have failed to score on their last four trips to the Bernabeu and have lost 2-0 on two of those occasions. Backing that same score line at 13/2 seems like good value.

Roberto Soldado scored a brace against Madrid in a 3-2 loss at the Mestalla and is 4/1 to bag one anytime here.

Elsewhere Barcelona ease into their season with a home tie against Real Sociedad who have not won a single game from their last 14 visits to the Camp Nou.

However, Sociedad did enjoy their best ever finish in the Spanish top flight of 12th and were one of only two sides to take any points off Barcelona in their own stadium with a 1-1 draw at the Camp Nou.

Sociedad have drawn five of their last eight games in the league and if you back the draw here you will find great odds of 9/2 which seems to hold the best value here in this one.
