Chelsea v Manchester United fan zone – the results!

Published:

We invited football fans this week to have their say on Sunday’s mouth-watering clash between Chelsea and Manchester United – and we’ve used some of your opinions to make a special preview.

Four questions were posted across our blog, Facebook and Twitter and we asked for your views.

The response was impressive and ahead of the game at Stamford Bridge, here’s what some of you thought about the big issues surrounding one of the biggest fixtures of the Premier League season.

Question 1

While John Terry serves his ban, Ashley Cole and Rio Ferdinand go head-to-head on Sunday.

Chris Kearney Yes they will shake hands. They were once very good friends ..time to move on rio and ash. Its about what should be a great game ..not if they or dont shake hands

Mark Cottam – Couldnt care less if they shake hands!! Just hope united win! I want the headlines to be about the game! not who didnt or wouldnt shake hands!

Benn Jones – Course they will. Then they’ll have a post discussion about all the Coronation Street gossip over tea and biscuits at John Terrys house…

Kevin Cullen –  No and I dont care lol

Lewis Melling – Cant see them shakeing hands and no not really that bothred

Joey JoyBigger game on merseyside #gameon

Question 2

If you could steal one player from Sunday’s opposition, who would you want?

WrittenInTheStatsGary Cahill to Utd, poor at the back Utd are and Cahill has a large career ahead of him! Rio to Chelsea, just for a laugh with JT

AndrewKEllis – I’d take Juan Mata…. what a player!

Scott Mason – If there wasn’t such a history behind it, Ashley Cole to United. Tired of Evra leaving gaping holes at the back.

Spellabar – I would take Hazard to Utd as he has that creativity in the last 3rd of the pitch. Great playr for the next 10 years

GaryGary577 – I would take Hazards, great player.

Puneet Mitra – Van Persie to Chelsea because they haven’t got an in form/confident striker. But in reality i hope they all flop #gooner4life

Question 3 & 4

Prediction time!

Martin Luke – Old trafford has a better atmosphere and it will be 2-1 to united

Richard Nesbit – Stamford bridge and 2-1 chelsea hazard and torres

Rob Crashaw – I hate Chelsea but I have to say Stamford Bridge. Then again thats only because prison has a better atmosphere than Old Trafford. Score will be 0-0.

Dave Parkinson – Both got atmosphere tho utd bit better going for chelsea win hence home advantage 2-1

John Kermath – Chelsea are gonna walk away with the title this year – utd dont have a chance

Jamie Robinson – Neither. Anfield all the way. 0-0

Thanks to everyone who took part – and keep a look out for the next fan zone!
