Keegan has the look of 2013 FHM sexiest woman of the year

Having only been responsible for one of the first 14 winners of FHM magazine’s Top 100 Sexiest Women, British women have been rampant in recent years.

Britain can lay claim to each of the last four winners, while each of the last nine victors have been no older than 26.

These two facts combine to help make Michelle Keegan the most logical winner in 2013 and the former Coronation Street actress is 6/1 to win the vote of the magazine’s readers.

Georgia Salpa is the favourite at 5/1 to build on finishing fifth last year and an appearance on Celebrity Big Brother in the past 12 months may help her cause.

Speaking of last year, Tulisa is 16/1 to follow in the footsteps of Jennifer Lopez and Cheryl Cole in receiving the accolade in successive years.

Meanwhile, Rihanna has landed third spot in each of the last two years and is 8/1 to finally sit on top of the pile.

Many of the recent winners have benefited from extra exposure than normal, with the likes of Cheryl and Tulisa being judges on the X Factor and Halle Berry starring in the James Bond film Die Another Day.

Being the poster girl of the London Olympics and winning a gold medal help Jessica Ennis fit this criteria and she is 20/1 to top the FHM poll.

Of those at bigger prices worth considering, Kate Upton’s stock continues to grow and last year she appeared on the cover of Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit Issue.

She is 16/1 to land another front-page gig with FHM, although at age 20 she would be the youngest ever winner.
