Rafa ready for New York with Spaniard now 11/4 for US Open

Rafael Nadal’s incredible resurgence shows no sign of abating with the Spaniard now backed into 11/4 to claim a second career US Open title following his Masters triumph in Cincinnati.

Defeating rival Novak Djokovic en-route to taking the spoils in Montreal further reinforced the feeling amongst the tennis world that Nadal could be the one to beat in New York.

Following that up with back-to-back hard court titles for the first time in his career in Ohio has only served to increase expectations.

The man from Manacor has been slashed from 9/2 to emerge triumphant in New York with Djokovic still the 15/8 favourite.
