Euro Acca: Juve to win but concede against Fiorentina

Published:

As attention returns to domestic affairs after the international week, we’ve picked out four selections from Europe’s top leagues this Sunday that combine to pay out just over 94/1.

Fiorentina v Juventus – Juve and both teams to score @ 7/2

Juventus are unbeaten in Serie A so far, and haven’t lost in 15 years at the Artemio Franchi. In addition, the reigning champions have lost just three of their last 38 away from home, while Fiorentina have lost three of their last four with Antonio Conte’s side and won just one of their three at home so far.

However, the Bianconeri have been relatively porous at the back of late, keeping just one clean sheet in eight. La Viola were the league’s leading scorers last term, and will expect to deny Gianluigi Buffon a clean sheet here – though depriving the champions of victory looks an altogether harder proposition.

Lyon v Bordeaux – Lyon @ 21/20

Fourteenth hosts fifteenth at the Stade de Gerland, in a match which gives Lyon a good chance of eradicating the memory of their 5-1 defeat last time out.

Bordeaux are winless away from home, and Lyon have conceded just twice in their five matches here, suggesting that Bordeaux will struggle to reverse their woes on the road. Remi Garde’s side also won their last encounter with the visitors, 4-0 away from home, and look good value for the three points here given that Francis Gillot’s men haven’t won away in the league since January.

Real Valladolid v Sevilla – Sevilla @ 7/5

Sevilla haven’t won away from home this season, but on recent form they look good value to do so against a struggling Real Valladolid side.

Unai Emery’s side began the season in disastrous fashion, failing to win any of their first five games, but have since won twice and drawn in the Primera Liga, as well as winning in the Europa League.

With nine strikes in their last four in all competitions, they will have Valladolid concerned. The hosts are winless in five, and have won just once in eight league clashes this term – scoring under a goal per game on average.

Augsburg v Wolfsburg – To win to nil: Augsburg @ 10/3

Wolfsburg’s away record makes encouraging reading for Augsburg. Four defeats from four – with just one goal scored – has the Wolves languishing 14th in the Bundesliga, two places below their hosts here.

Dieter Hecking’s side haven’t scored in their last two, and face an Augsburg side which has picked up two wins and a draw at the SGL Arena since losing heavily to Borussia Dortmund on the opening day of the season.

Wolfsburg haven’t scored here since Augsburg gained promotion to the top tier in 2011, and are hard to back to do so this time around.
