Oscar and Lukaku the Fantasy Football threats to Suarez and Aguero

| 08.11.2013

Steven Caulker’s goal, clean sheet, 90-minute cameo and three bonus points meant that no defender scored more Fantasy Football points in gameweek 10 and in fact, the Cardiff captain is the only Premier League player to feature in the dream team of both of the last two weeks.

Another clean sheet against an Aston Villa side that have not scored a Premier League goal since September is more than plausible, but it is hard to foresee him being the highest-scoring player of gameweek 11.

Sergio Aguero is a predictable choice for this accolade, bearing in mind he was the overall top points scorer for his 18 points against Norwich in gameweek 10 and he has seven goals and three assists in his last five Premier League outings.

Were this fixture at the Etihad, then it would be tough to oppose Aguero, given Man City have scored 15 goals across their last four home games with Sunderland.

However, their last three trips to the Stadium of Light have ended in 1-0 defeats and so it is a ground where they have struggled to score in the past.

Luis Suarez will be a popular choice with Liverpool hosting Fulham, especially as he has scored four times across his two appearances at Anfield this season.

But given that he has to jet off to join Uruguay straight after the fixture, there is the possibility that he will not play the full 90 minutes.

Crystal Palace have conceded at least twice in their last seven league games and this must be a positive to the prospects of Romelu Lukaku.

With Man Utd facing Arsenal, the chances of big points from the likes of Aaron Ramsey, Robin van Persie, Wayne Rooney or Olivier Giroud are reduced, so it could be a week for a less obvious player to come to the fore.

Four of Oscar’s five goals this season have come at Stamford Bridge and given that Chelsea have won all seven of their career Premier League home encounters with West Brom, the Brazilian may collect big points.
