Sam Faiers v Luisa Zissman in CBB Battle of the Bombshells

Published:

Over the years we’ve seen many a great rivalry develop in the world of sport but as this year’s Celebrity Big Brother contestants were unveiled to the public, we saw the battle lines drawn in what could be a classic on-screen tussle to be queen of the house.

Made In Chelsea star Ollie Locke may lead the way in the betting to win this year’s edition of the reality series at odds of 9/4, but when it comes to backing a female contestant to be the last woman standing, it looks to be a straight shootout between the pair.

It’s shaping up to be a tabloid/reality series face-off that will be talked about for years to come and one that could one day draw comparisons with that of Keane versus Vieira – only with more fake tan.

In the blue corner, we have the current 4/6 favourite Faiers who comes into the house as one of the front runners for victory amid the continued press coverage of her on-off relationship with I’m A Celebrity contestant Joey Essex.

As a star of the popular ITV2 reality show The Only Way Is Essex, she was always likely to be among the contenders for the crown and her prospects of success have been helped no end by a series of photo shoots with publications including Zoo and Nuts.

Meanwhile, in the red corner, there’s the challenger and second favourite to be the last remaining female, Zissman, available at 7/2 with Ladbrokes.

Famous for finishing runner-up on The Apprentice, the fiery retail entrepreneur developed something of a reputation on the show for her no-nonsense approach to the tasks and those working alongside her.

This confrontational demeanour could stand her in good stead during her stint in the Celebrity Big Brother house with viewers tending to favour the louder and more combustible contestants since the show moved to Channel Five.

And like Faiers before her, Zissman’s good looks and glamorous appearances at red carpet events across the capital, as well as various magazine shoots, means she is sure to be a popular fixture among viewers.

With neither female afraid to speak their mind, the likelihood of the pair clashing is high and while Ladbrokes has yet to offer odds on such a market, we’d probably bank on it being explosive!
