Burnley set to continue winning ways against Leeds
There’s always one result that comes back to haunt you by the time 5pm comes around on a Saturday but this week we are using the insurance of Ladbrokes’ One Out? Our Shout! promotion in our Championship accumulator.
We have plumped for Burnley, Leicester, Watford, Nottingham Forest and QPR all to secure wins and by placing this fivefold acca Ladbrokes will refund your losing stake if one of your selections lets you down.
A £10 stake on these five home bankers at just under 9/1 returns £88.80! What could go wrong?
A 94th minute strike denied Burnley all three points against Birmingham last time out but after a first win against Blackburn in 34 years confidence will still be high in Sean Dyche’s squad.
The Clarets are now unbeaten in 13 Championship matches and they will be confident of extending that run against Leeds, who have conceded nine in their last two outings.
The Foxes continued their march towards the Championship title with a 3-0 win over Barnsley at Oakwell.
Leicester are now seven points clear at the top and are looking to consolidate their position with a win over a Blackpool side which has not picked up maximum points on the road since November.
Barry Ferguson’s team may have got back to winning ways at Bloomfield Road against fellow strugglers Millwall in midweek but Nigel Pearson’s league leaders will prove too strong.
Watford are flying at Vicarage Road at the moment after a run of four straight wins and no goals conceded in the league.
Barnsley, who are without a victory in seven league matches on their travels, have just one win in 16 on the road and face a tough ask improving that record against Giuseppe Sannino’s side at their home fortress.
Harry Redknapp’s men have had a bad time of it of late but the visit of Yeovil to Loftus Road can provide the Hoops with a bit of respite.
QPR have won just one of their last seven Championship matches but at home they have lost just two in 15 league matches.
In comparison Yeovil have just one win from their last seven league games on the road and Redknapp’s men can take advantage of the Glovers’ fragility away from home.
Billy Davies’ side’s promotion hopes have stalled in recent weeks but they too have an excellent chance of getting back on track against poor travellers Doncaster.
Donny are without a win on the road in 13 matches and have suffered three straight defeats on the road.
Last time out at the City Ground, Forest suffered a 4-1 defeat at the hands of FA Cup semi-finalists Wigan but before that they were unbeaten in nine in all competitions in front of their home fans.
Back the Reds to get back to winning ways this weekend.
