Kilkenny and Galway have to do it all over again after their Leinster hurling semi-final ended in an epic draw last time out.

Kilkenny have been subject to a huge media backlash after failing to close out their first encounter with Galway.

Having led by 10 points with than 10 minutes to go the Cats let their advantage slip as Anthony Cunningham’s side equalised with three late goals.

But having dominated the pair’s initial encounter for so long we’re not expecting Kilkenny to make the same mistake again.

CAVAN to beat Westmeath @ 1/2 – All-Ireland SFC Qualifiers Round 1

Despite the fact they head into this encounter with a number of suspensions and injuries to key players it’s still easy to back Cavan to overcome Westmeath.

The visitors have failed to win a single competitive game in 2014 with Westmeath boss Paul Bealin bemoaning the “young and inexperienced panel” he’s had to work with this year.

And even though they won’t be able to field their best side, Terry Hyland’s Cavan outfit are likely to prove too strong against opponents who are low on confidence and woefully out of form.

MONAGHAN to beat Armagh @ 1/3  – Ulster SFC semi-final (Live on Sky Sports)

Monaghan’s march to the Ulster final is unlikely to be halted by Armagh with the reigning Ulster champions poised to progress here.

Armagh’s ranks have been hit by suspensions following a mass brawl in their match-up against Cavan in round one.

But even with their full complement of players they would struggle against a Monaghan side who comfortably beat them in the league earlier in the year.

KILDARE to beat Meath @ 4/6  – Leinster SFC semi-final (Live on RTE1)

These two sides meet at Dublin’s famous Croke Park with Kildare the pick to triumph.

Although they’ll be missing key personnel themselves, Meath have been harder hit by injuries in the build-up to this semi-final encounter.

The news that star forward Michael Newman will miss the game has seen a big move in the betting and his absence is one that Kildare can capitalise on.

Newman scored a hat-trick of goals in his side’s 28-point win over Carlow in the first round and despite their best efforts his absence will be difficult to overcome.
