Best of social: Spurs coaches forced to sing for supper

Published:

The new football season is almost underway but with plenty of pre-season activity to come players and coaches alike are making the most of the relaxed atmosphere the off-season brings.

We’ve already seen the likes of Kasper Schmeichel playing up front in training and James Rodriguez scaring his team-mates and here Ladbrokes news wraps up the best of social so far this week.

First up – as the headline alludes – are the boys at White Hart Lane.

Proving it’s not just players that are subjected to embarrassing initiations, new Tottenham coaches Miguel D’Agostino, Jesus Perez and Toni Jimenez were forced to serenade the Spurs squad and chose a catch little Latin number.

Shame about the dancing though!

Their humiliation was compounded when defender Kyle walker posted the evidence to instagram.

Over to Italy now and it seems Ashley Cole’s reputation for training ground hijinks has already started to influence his new Roma team-mates, with Miralem Pjanic posting this pic of Alessandro Florenzi on twitter.

Football club rule number one: Do not fall asleep on the plane under any circumstances!

And finally, young Manchester United defender Reece James is enjoying new found fame on Twitter after seeing his name on the UK trending list for bagging a brace in Man United’s 7-0 pre-season romp over LA Galaxy.

Here’s the first of his two goals – set up after some decent forward play by Ashley Young – yes, Ashley Young!
