CBB: Strictly dancer our pick to lose out in battle of the egos

Published:

The first eviction of this year’s Celebrity Big Brother is upon us and naturally we’re wasting no time in sticking the boot in to the nominated housemates.

Ladbrokes have made muscle-bound David McIntosh (the ridiculously lucky bloke who’s engaged to Kelly Brook) the 8/11 favourite to be canned but at that skinny price we think the real value lies elsewhere.

David, Claire, Kellie, James and Gary are all in the firing line.

Here’s our rundown of the five housemates up for the vote:

David McIntosh (Evens to be evicted first)

At the head of the market after being consigned to Big Brother’s ‘Celebrity Scrapheap’ alongside Kellie and Gary.

David once claimed he was ‘too famous’ to go in the house before the show started and now believes he’s ‘too good looking’ to get voted out.

Oh, but he is fed up of eating just rice and beans.

Perhaps it’s time for the public to leave David in no doubt as to how they feel about the former Gladiator.

David makes bold claims about why he won’t be leaving the House any time soon

Claire King (11/4)

Thrust into the eviction running by Leslie, former Emmerdale actress Claire is perhaps right to feel a little peeved about being up for eviction.

She may not have contributed too much to proceedings as yet but the 51-year-old appears to have enough pubic support to survive.

Kellie Maloney (3/1)

A  somewhat surprising third favourite but it’s been no secret that Kellie has found adjusting to life in the House particularly difficult.

Heated exchanges with Leslie Jordan have exposed Kellie’s fragility and a quickfire exit could be in store.

James Jordan (4/1) – OUR PICK

The ‘Brad Pitt of dance’ has had his fair share of run-ins already but it’s the Strictly star’s ego, rather than his confrontational nature, that makes him a value bet to leave.

Can the public take much more of James’ outlandish nonsense?

For us, he’s the one who’ll lose out in the battle of the egos with David.

Gary Busey (33/1)

As if Gary’s going anywhere. The American actor has been the star of the show so far, putting ‘celebrities’ in their place and mesmerising audiences with his tales of fathering Roman Emperor Constantine in a previous life.

Even those not too keen on Busey’s home truths will see the entertainment value he brings.

And while Gary may keep on receiving nominations from his fellow housemates the public will surely want him there right until the end.

All Odds and Markets are correct as of the date of publishing.
