Champions League: Zenit bankers to bounce back against AEL

Published:

Theres plenty to play for as the Champions Leaguethird qualifying roundstage reaches its conclusion so its the perfect time for another of our Ladbrokes News accumulators.

This time we have a fivefold featuring some of the stalwarts of Champions League qualifying so back Zenit, Dinamo Zagreb, Steaua Bucharest, APOEL and Sparta Praha all for victory at odds of 7/1.

Read on to find out why…

Zenit St Petersburg to beat AEL Limassol @ 1/7

AEL produced a huge upset when the two sides clashed last week but despite their victory the Cypriot side still face a huge task at theStadionPetrovskij.

Axel Witsel is suspended for theRussiansfollowing his red card last week but Andre Villas-Boas side have the necessary quality to turn things around and reach theplay-offround.

Dinamo Zagreb to beat AaB @ 9/20

There was not much to choose between the two sides from the first leg but back on home soil Dinamo Zagreb are rightly the favourites for victory.

The Croatians are on a run of three straight wins without conceding a goal at Stadion Maksimir and look set to put their Danish opponentsto thesword.

Steaua Bucharest to beat Aktobe @ 3/10

Steaua Bucharest more than held their own in last seasons group stage with draws against Schalke and Basel at home andConstantin Glc?ssidecan have success again atStadionulSteaua.

TheRomanianside will have to close two sections of the stadium after a Uefa punishment but that should not cause too many problems for the home side as they look to inflict Aktobes fifth Champions League away defeat in nine matches.

APOEL Nicosia to beat HJK @ 9/20

APOEL are on a run of 22 matches without defeat in front of their home fans and after their fight back from two goals down in the first leg are favourites to qualify for the play-off round.

Zenit,Porto and Lyon have suffered defeat at Neo GSP in recent years andGiorgo Donis side can add the HJK scalp to that list.

Sparta Praha to beat Malmo @ 13/10

With Sparta Praha leading 4-2 on aggregate Malmo will be going all out attack in a bid to turn around the deficit.

While we all know the Swedish side are excellent on their home patch, chasingthe game could play right into the hands of their Czech opponents, who haveracked up 17 goals in just five games so far this season.
