Euro Televised Accumulator: Go Double Dutch with PSV and Ajax

| 15.08.2014

The Bundesliga, Serie A and La Liga action may still be a few weeks away from recommencing, but that hasn’t stopped us piecing together a fourfold featuring teams from Holland and France – two of Europe’s most in-demand leagues on the box.

BT Sport viewers have long been connoisseurs of all thing Ligue 1, with all the action from France broadcast on the channel last season but this year there is a new addition to the Sky Sports roster in the form of the Dutch Eredivisie.

And we’ve got a delightful fourfold for you to enjoy, featuring four of the biggest teams from their respective domestic divisions and offering odds of just over 9/1

PSV Eindhoven to beat NAC Breda @ 2/9 – Saturday, 17:30, Sky Sports 5

With all of the day’s English league games done and dusted by 17:15, switch over to Sky Sports 5 to catch one of the first of channel’s flagship games from the Eredivisie, featuring one of the biggest teams in Holland, PSV Eindhoven.

PSV have endured a couple of lean years, trophy-wise, but can get off to a good start after breezing through qualification for the Europa League. They’ve beaten NAC on each of their last five visits to the Philips Stadion too, which should help.

Ajax to beat AZ Alkmaar @ 11/10 – Sunday, 11:30, Sky Sports 5

The morning after the night before, a late morning kick-off in Holland offers the perfect antidote to a heavy Saturday evening and the Eredivisie is serving up a cracker with champions Ajax heading to AZ – the team Louis van Gaal guided to title success a few years back.

Beaten by the Amsterdam giants home and away last season, Ajax look likely to come out on top again after starting their season with a 4-1 win over Vitesse.

Marseille to beat Montpellier @ 8/13 – Sunday, 16:00, BT Sport 2

The ideal post-Sunday lunch fare comes from BT as a Marseille side undergoing an exciting transition under Pep Guardiola mentor Marcelo Bielsa entertain 2012 Ligue 1 champions Marseille at the Stade Velodrome.

L’OM let a 3-1 lead slip against Bastia last weekend but should make light work of a Montpellier team that lost 1-0 at home to Bordeaux last time out. With Marseille winning each of their previous four meetings, there is room to be confident.

Monaco to beat Bordeaux @ 6/4 – Sunday, 20:00, BT Sport 1

Erase any Sunday night blues courtesy of BT Sport 1 and Monaco’s trip to Bordeaux, with the Principality Club keen to bounce back from opening day defeat to Lorient.

Bordeaux may have won their first game but they will be wary of a Monaco side featuring a newly-fit Radamel Falcao, who could help the title contenders win for a fourth consecutive time at the Stade Jacques Chaban-Delmas.
