Kamara: Watch this space, I can’t wait to go into the jungle!

| 02.11.2014

Ladbrokes ambassador Chris Kamara is famous for many reasons. The ex-professional footballer and manager was respected for his uncompromising attitude on the pitch.

And as a beloved pundit on shows such as Soccer Saturday and Goals on Sunday, Kammy has endeared himself to an audience of millions with his love of football, life and of course his signature catchphrase, “Unbelievable Jeff!”.

But not one to rest on his laurels, our man has also revealed to Ladbrokes News another of his burning ambitions.

Having spoken to the Sky Sports legend it appears that a stint on hit ITV reality show I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! could be in the offing.

Kammy said: “I could’ve gone into the jungle last year and I was offered the chance again this year.

Of course I’d love to go in there but with I’m a Celebrity! lasting a whole month during the football season it’s not an option for me.

But the jungle will come one day!” he added.

And there’s one other particular star that the ex-Leeds hardman thinks should be planted in the outback.

“I’d like to see Jeff Stelling out there, that’s for sure. I’d like to see how he’d cope with it, he’d lose some weight for sure!” was Kammy’s cheeky verdict.

Kammy also revealed his interest in this year’s X Factor competition.

He said: “I’ll probably be having a bet once the X Factor reaches the latter stages.

I’m not getting Andrea {Faustini} to be fair. I’ll probably go with Lauren {Platt}.

It’s good to see bookies offering odds on these types of markets, as an alternative to just football and horse racing.”
