Liverpool fans will rightly have concern etched across their already-frowning faces to hear reports former Chelsea and Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas is on a list of possible replacements for Brendan Rodgers.
The lunacy involved in this potential recruitment has more sides than a dodecahedron, but there are a few major factors which render the other minor issues obsolete, not least that the Reds should keep faith with Rodgers.
Currently a 16/1-shot to be the next Premier League Manager to leave; the Reds must resist the urge to react with a bullet during what was always going to be a transitional season.
