Published:It’s hard to believe it now but Bayern Munich went into their Champions League quarter-final second leg against Porto as underdogs to progress, yet after a first-half Bavarian football master class, Twitter was awash with comment.
The Bundesliga champions were at their imperious best, with the Portuguese visitors put to the sword in a performance that had fans purring.
Here are just some of the social media highlights from the game.
With Bayern racing into a 5-0 lead by half-time, there were heat maps and pitch maps aplenty to enjoy, all of which served to highlight their dominance.
